More Parking Lots Should Have More Walkways

The Target in San Clemente has nice walkways in the parking lot. You don't have to stress about someone trying to run you over or that you are holding up cars looking for spots.

Nice walkway.
A view from Google Maps shows that only one section of the lot gets the walkway. It doesn't seem like very many spaces would have been sacrificed to put a walkway down every lane.
The Stater Bros. lot in Ladera Ranch also gets one walkway.
The Catholic church in Ladera Ranch gets two walkways.
The nearest Whole Foods gets no walkways.
The Whole Foods in Irvine gets one walkway.
