Successfully fighting Youtube copyright claims
Audium publishing claimed a Youtube copyright infringement on a video I uploaded of the high school wind ensemble.
I'm not sure if they are claiming ownership of 2nd Suite in F by Holst or Sunken Cathedral by Debussy. Either way, they are both published well before 1928.
Youtube told me that Audiam decided to release their copyright claim on the video. But why does Youtube let them have an automatic system that claims copyright on all videos with that music since they are in the public domain? Seems like Youtube should remove their ability to claim copyright on music that is in the public domain.
