Columbia University's Reputation

The US News college rankings are interesting. Malcolm Gladwell has devoted a few podcasts to them that have been very interesting. I feel like the ranking is really just a rank of the reputation of a school by the world at large.

Columbia cheated on their numbers they send to US News and got caught. So then they claimed they don't think the rankings are any good. I know what their reputation is in my mind now– dead last.
